Investment: Digital transformation in company ORODJARSTVO KRIŽAJ d.o.o.

The investment was selected for co-financing under the public tender Incentives for the Digital Transformation of SMEs (P4D 2025).

Project objectives: Orodjarstvo Križaj d.o.o. is carrying out a comprehensive digital transformation of the company, including its data strategy and the development of new digital business models. The project will establish automated production monitoring, strengthen cybersecurity, and develop digital competencies across the entire workforce.

The main goals are a holistic digital transformation of the company, enhanced employee competencies, more efficient processes, higher added value, improved customer experience, and the introduction of material- and energy-efficient production processes.

Total investment value: 199,700.00 EUR.

Project duration: 01.10.2024 – 20.02.2026

Investment: Digital transformation of ORODJARSTVO KRIŽAJ d.o.o.

The investment was selected for co-financing in the public tender "P4D React EU - Incentives for the digital transformation of SMEs".

The value of the project amounts to 166,396.00 EUR net.

Main purpose/objective of the investment: the investment and the planned actions will enable greater automation of data transfer, better customer experience, more efficient procurement, human resources and development functions, and an increase in the digital literacy of employees. Digital transformation will drive better efficiency, higher service levels, more flexibility and responsiveness. With the help of digital transformation, we aim to create flexible business and production processes that will remain resistant to change in the future.

The goals of the investment are: Increase competitiveness, increase development orientation, improve employee competencies, increase value creation per employee.

RRI project: Development of new products and process improvements with modern technologies

The consortium of companies BLISK livarstvo, ORODJARSTVO KRIŽAJ and GAZELA Krško researches and develops within the RRI project (a) a family of new, more sophisticated castings made of aluminum alloys for the automotive industry (e-vehicle) based on the metal die-casting process, (b) the mechanical and thermal treatment of new highly heat-conductive tool steels, which will help to increase productivity and reduce ejection, (c) protective hard coatings to increase wear resistance of components of casting tools, and (d) methodology to measure the temperature of components of tools during the die casting process and produce a numerical model for better timely understanding of the situation and actions. The project period: December 6, 2018 to December 5, 2020. The investment was co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund in the amount of EUR 486,885.
